Sacred Sips: Chia Glow Lemonade for Hydration & Hormone Balance

There’s something sacred about the simple act of sipping. Whether it’s a morning moment of calm or a midday reset, the right drink can become a gentle ritual—infusing your body with nourishment and your spirit with intention.

This Chia Glow Lemonade is one of my favorites. It’s hydrating, energizing, and packed with nutrients that support hormone balance, digestion, and radiant skin. Plus, it’s so easy to make and absolutely beautiful in a glass.

Chia Glow Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 12–16 oz filtered water
  • Juice of ½–1 lemon
  • 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (or a few drops of stevia)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Optional: pinch of Celtic sea salt or a few trace mineral drops
  • Optional: fresh mint or cucumber slices

Instructions:

  1. In a glass or jar, stir together the lemon juice, sweetener, and salt/minerals.
  2. Add chia seeds and stir really well to prevent clumping.
  3. Let sit for 10–15 minutes until the chia seeds expand and form a gel.
  4. Stir again and sip slowly.

Why I Love It:

This drink is like a gentle reset. The chia seeds give long-lasting energy and fullness without heaviness, the lemon refreshes and detoxifies, and the salt or minerals bring hydration deep into your cells.

I like to make this after my morning yoga, or in the early afternoon when my energy starts to dip. Bonus—if you make it in a clear jar, it looks like a galaxy swirling in your hand.

Soul Tip:

As you stir this drink, take a breath and set an intention.

Let your body know: “I am hydrated, I am vibrant, I am supported.”

The water remembers.

With muddy feet and wild dreams – with sunshine and sage may your day be a little bit magical!
